    After Covid I found it a little hard to get back into my workout routine. Last week I only got 2 workouts in…lack of energy. This week I’m doing better. I feel so much better if I workout in the morning…I have more energy, less brain fog, and I feel like I’m more organized.

    Well…I survived Covid. I didn’t workout for a week, but it feels like much longer. Started working out again on Monday. Going slow because I still have some lingering congestion and I don’t want to overdue it and get sick again. Hope you all are healthy and happy!

    Started the Strong & Solid workout on Beachbody on Demand. I’m only in the first week. I mostly like the workouts, but there is a lot of jumping, which isn’t great for my old goat tyer knees, but I just make modifications. Stay tuned.

    I’m on a roll! LOL Monday – Fitbit 30 minute strength training circuit; Tuesday – old school Shaun T Hip Hop Abs total body burn; today – 21 Day Fix lower fix. And every day I walk the dogs twice, along with barn chores. Hope you all are feeling great!

    Continuing to workout 5-6 days a week…except for last week, but I only missed one day, so I’ll call it a win. Weather is a bit cooler in the morning making it a little harder to get out of my warm bed, but working out warms me up and gets me ready for the weather outside. I love Fall!

    • Same here!! It’s still pretty hot here but it’s starting to cool finally! I’m so happy you did so well last week! I didn’t do that great. I got into the gym only a couple times and worked out doing ranch chores here but it wasn’t the way I like doing things. I’m disappointed

      • Our lives are busy. The good thing for us, is we have ranch chores that keep us active on a daily basis. I think as long as we don’t let disappointment derail our goals we can get back on track and continue on our journey to better health. 🙂

    Got up a little late so I just did a 20 minute Fitbit workout. It was ok. And I walked the dogs. Happy Monday!

    Did a barre workout yesterday. Really challenged my balance. I think I’ll do it again to help with that problem. Did a Fitbit MMA workout this morning. Even though it was a little hard to catch onto its the first Fitbit workout I’ve actually enjoyed and I will definitely do it again.

    Monday and Wednesday did a couple of Fitbit workouts. Not my favorite. Tuesday I just walked the dogs. Today I did an old school Billy Blanks workout. Still one of my favorites.     Had to take a couple of days off from my workouts…the storm that rolled in took me out…huge headache, aching joints…grrr! But I’m baaaack!!! And I don’t feel like I missed a beat. I’m sticking with my 30 minute morning workouts, then I get the rest of my 10,000 steps in after chores are done. Even got the husband in on the walking.…[Read more]

    Monday Motivation! Ernestine Shepherd is well into her 80’s! I am a couple decades away from that, but I’m “determined, dedicated, and disciplined” so I can be fit and healthy when I’m in my 80’s.

    I am doing Kundalini Lounge 40 day weight loss yoga. I think I’m at day 26 today. I just started the Kundalini Lounge 40 day Mental Health one with my daughter. I need to get more steps in though.

    Upper body workout this morning. Increased weights on the last set. I have limited time in the morning…the best time for me to work out, so 30 minute workouts are best for me. Wakes me up and keeps my energy level up during the day. I just use dumb bells and my own weight, along with some DVD workouts I have collected. Will add several sets…[Read more]
