I love this time of year for so many reasons! Weather is cooler, which makes working out a bit more comfortable. Still struggling to find a workout program that I really love, but I’m still working out most days of the week. Food is my friend, but some days I like it a little too much! Still learning to tame that lion. Hope everyone is having…[Read more]

Have made a much better effort to make healthy food choices. Leg day always leaves me hungrier, but the key is the healthy food choices. I may not reach my weight goals because…hormones…but at least I won’t add to the problem.

No workout today…other than chores and walking the dogs. Working on meal/food prep for this week. Happy Sunday!

Still sticking with my workouts but I sometimes feel I’m not getting enough of a workout. Cooler weather makes it harder for me to eat healthy food rather than comfort food. Still working on it.

This week has been good…but it’s only Tuesday. Rededicated myself to healthy eating. So far so good! 😊

I’m struggling this weekend…my daughter that passed has been 3 months and it was the 2nd anniversary of my son getting hit and losing his leg. So I haven’t been eating anything all day and then I ate a burger at night Saturday. Not good. Same thing today…I’m not even hungry but I snack here and there on garbage.

Still working out 5-6 days a week. Need to find new workouts. Guess I should check out the Exerprise app. And I need to do better at meal planning.

The bad news…I have not been on here since the challenge started…:( The good news…I have worked out 8 of the 10 days of the challenge. I’m definitely an emotional eater and I have struggled with some depression these last couple of months, so I have struggled to get my nutrition back on track. For me diet and exercise are so crucial for…[Read more]

Good job on working out! I’m so much the same way. I’ve also been struggling with depression and it’s been a really bad past few months but we can do this! It’s like a crul game… depression makes you not want to exercise but it’s what helps depression lol.

Thank you! Definitely helps to know we are all in this together and working towards the goals of healthy and happy.

I’ve been STRUGGLING to get into the gym. My diet has been great but I’ll barely make 5 days this week. My daughter passed away in June and the depression is making it very hard to stay motivated.

Happy Monday everyone! Full body cardio with weights, 5 minute arm workout, 60 second plank. Food tracked in MyFitnessPal. I may not be quite where I wanted to be by the end of this challenge, but I’m definitely not where I started. Stay strong!

Leg day + 100 crunches + 2-60 second planks in the books. Steps…still falling short, but still getting more in than before starting the challenge.

Continuing with daily workouts…such a great habit! The challenge is nutrition. I know I’m not the only one who is busier with more sunlight and better weather. I’m also not as good at meal planning, so…goals. I know that, for me, if I am better at meal planning, I am more likely to eat healthier, which includes eating dinner before 9:00…[Read more]

Hope you all had a great weekend! Went to dinner over the weekend. Indulged. Now back to work.
Yesterday’s workout: total body cardio with weights and two walks with the dogs. Today’s workout, upper body and a 20 minute walk. Hoping to get another walk in this afternoon. And…back to tracking food. Got a bit lazy, but I’m “striving for…[Read more] -

No workout yesterday. Some days a girl just needs a few extra ZZZZZ’s…but…I did do my 100 crunches, 2-30 second planks, and 2-5 minute arm workouts. Gotta give my knees a break.
Full body strength training this morning and a nice walk with the dogs.
Day isn’t over yet. Hoping to get some more steps in with my horse, as well as, my crunche…[Read more]
