    You wouldn’t think Day 3 would be this tough! At the office, they had a baby shower, complete with chocolate fountain, marshmallows, cookies, etc. etc. OMG I was so tough. I did have some grapes and strawberries, but no chocolate, no cookies. My eating was again very good, and I did the exercise video!

    • Yay!! Good for you! Huge test and you passed. Keep it up, you will be so glad that you did! 🙂

    • Yes, Day 3 was tough for me as well! I didn’t eat sugar, but I ate too many Wheat Thins, LOL!

      • Wheat thins sound like they should be good for us (and they are yummy) but the carby little bastards are addictive. You should have seen me stare at the chocolate fountain! Who would think that’s a good idea to bring to an office full of overweight women????

    • Awesome job 😊. I am not sure I would have had the strength to resist the chocolate. That is my downfall 😣.

    • I am doing the exercise workouts, then go outside and work in the yard, or do stretching. Tonight, I came home and mowed the orchard. Dang it’s hot! But I am hanging in there!

    • I am getting a lot of walking in. My horse is boarded about 2 miles away, so I’ve been walking to see her. So hot, so I do it in the morning. Then swimming in the afternoon.

        • Awesome! I’ve just started getting back into riding after being on bedrest with my pregnancy, and trail riding is my favorite. I got a couple of notifications about your comment here before I was actually able to pull it up – maybe give it a few minutes? Or just send me a friend request and we can be lost together haha

          • I figured out the friend request: member’s arena > profile > friends > requests!

            • I go there and it doesn’t show a request from you 😡. I go to your profile to send one to you and it tells me a requestrian has been sent already . Getting frustrated. Had a request come in after yours and it showed up with no problems

            • Grr. No wonder I have no friends lol Technology and I have never gotten along.

    I’ve been feeling a little weaker today, so I had some peanut butter and also added some grapes for a snack. Feeling better. I passed up on some discounted donuts today. They looked wonderful, but I didn’t pull the trigger. Haha! Going to get a swim in now.

    We have been talking about how important walking is in your day to day exercise. We would love to see you get 10,000 steps a day, but sometimes that is not doable. I have used Leslie Sansone’s workouts for years, even during pregnancy. They are low impact and burn calories. Try it out!

    Not a good start to the challenge 😢. Made brownies for the husband yesterday and couldn’t pass them up today. Will do better tomorrow.

      That’s ok! Sometimes it takes guilt to keep us on track, haha! How about when we all want to reach for something sweet we come into the group and post, or go to the f.b. closed group. We are all here to help each other. You are awesome!

    How did everyone’s day go? If you slipped up a bit, that’s OK. Start strong again tomorrow. We can do this!

    • I did pretty decent. I had a taco salad without the chips, but did have some wheat thins for a snack. No sugar as in desserts or pop!

    I had an egg, whole wheat toast, 1 slice turkey bacon for breakfast. I am not a fan of oatmeal. Has anyone been an oatmeal hater that turned lover and any tips on how you did it?

    • Have you tried putting different fruits in it? Also, once we can add a little sugar back into our diets, try a bit of brown sugar or molasses. Some people like the taste of Cream of Wheat better. It is also a good, nutritious breakfast.
