Saturday was more of a workout…Sunday was just a lot of moving around…grandbabies are in town. Got all 100 crunches, squats, and push ups in on Saturday. Only 50 on Sunday. Weekends are a little tricky, so I try to make everything I do some sort of workout. Example: Cowboy and I went to pick up some pallets for the hay barn. Noticing little changes…my skin is more hydrated; I’m better able to make healthy food choices; I don’t have the sugar cravings; and many more. I don’t feel like there has been any change in my weight or measurements, but I’m not giving up! One day at a time!

Mom had two debilitating strokes by the time she was my age (58) caused by type 2 diabetes and heart disease. I have drank 75 oz. of water per day for the last couple of years. Still working up to a gallon…some days I get it in…other days not so much. Still working on 100 squats per day. Made the 10 day sugar detox. My son and his family were here for dinner on Sunday. Had a small slice of light cheesecake for dessert, but other than that I’m still living sugar free other than natural sugars found in foods. Hope you all are feeling great!

	Connie posted an update in the group  Challenges 3 years, 7 months ago Challenges 3 years, 7 months agoI did it!!! 10 days without sugar or sweetener of any kind. No refined flours. No dried fruits. And no sugary beverages. Sugar is my addiction, so I will keep going, other than an occasional treat. Congratulations to all of you who also made it or are still working on it.

I have limited time in the morning…the best time for me to work out, so 30 minute workouts are best for me. Wakes me up and keeps my energy level up during the day. I just use dumb bells and my own weight, along with some DVD workouts I have collected. Will add several sets…[Read more]

I think for the first time in history I stuck to one slice and then filled up on veggies. Had corned beef and smoked cabbage with potatoes and green beans cooked in avocado oil on Sunday.
